My phone dings and my computer pings. I have a new Email and once again I am tempted to check it.
Now I lost my focus.
Rinse and repeat.
This happens all too much during my day. I could stop checking my Email, but that could make me unreliable to those who need my response.
3 Tips for Getting Rid of Unwanted Emails
1. Use unroll.me to help you cut back on unwanted Emails. I used once and it did a pretty good job. You give the Web site access to your account and it searches for emails you may want to unsubscribe from. You choose what you get rid of. It didn’t remove 100% of my junk, but it took care of a lot and it was quick.
2. If you don’t want give someone or something access to your Email, then you can just go to your Email’s search feature and search “unsubscribe.” It will find all the Emails in your account that will give you the option to unsubscribe manually. It is time consuming, but it does narrow your junk down.
3. Stop Emailing and write letters. Just kidding. There are many other applications and Web sites that claim to help and many of them you can pay for. The first two options are free.
